Hey, I want to install BF2 on my laptop and my desktop and I will create an image so I don’t need to carry the cds around with me. My only concern is if I play on my laptop and someone tries to play on my desktop. Some games will allow it but my concern is with punkbuster. Will it just kick the other person off or will it give a ban or what? I just don’t want to get a ban or something like that. I’m fine with just a warning message that the key is in use.

Re: Multi Computers with BF2
What if you network the computers and put the CD drive on share. I have this on my second HD so I can use what ever is on it with my laptop.

Don't worry. IIRC it will just say 'Cd Key already in use' if you try to log in on both at once. No bannings.

For sure the IIRC will just say 'Cd Key already in use', has anyone had experience with this?

Yeah it'll just say CD key in use, I tried to let my friend play on my laptop with me online, but that's what it said.
