Seriously who cares?? If you dont like them dont go on them.
I dont like a couple of the maps but i dont ***** cos they're there i just dont choose to play them.

And as fas as stats go, if you get your knife or pistol badge through hard work and lots of hours then you know you have done it ligitimately, im glad i did it normally and not on one of these servers, but i wouldnt have a go at them, if they want to do it that way then let them.

LOL yeh who cares about them either .. i love comeing across hackers in BF2 i make a point of hunting them down and pwning them, scr3w going to run to EA/bfroe mommy and telling them about it, just own them and move on.

If ppl want to hack then thats their lookout not mine youll never be able to stop them all, live it with.

Besides if ALL ppl used them it would be a level playing field ROFL,

If your that bothered about them spoiling your precious KDR/other stats then i suggest you need to take a closer look at whats lacking in yourself rather than blaming others for shortfalls.




What about the server?

Your wording strongly suggests to me that your a cheater. And yes it does matter if your using cheats and owning everryone then its ruining everyone elses fun.

It's not about people playing knife/pistol servers. It's about the servers breaking ROE. Simple as that. If those servers can break ROE, why can't they all?
And if these players can break ROE, why can't every player?

That's what it's about. Having rules and enforcing rules goes hand in hand. If you don't have rules, you can't enforce them. If you don't enforce the rules that you have, you might as well not have them. That's the real issue here.

But, yeah, we've seen this hundreds of times. Nothing anyone here can do, but reply the same way they have hundreds of times before.

§1.8 Players may not use or exploit game mechanisms to artificially boost their score ("stats padding") and Server administrators may not knowingly allow or encourage this activity on their servers.

This would include but not limited to:
§ Knife-Pistol-Revive
§ Knife-Pistol only Servers
§ Knife only Servers
§ High Points Servers
§ Infantry only Servers
§ No Artillery or Armour Servers
§ Using Vehicles removed from battlefield for purposes of artificially inflating points
§ Turning boats upside down and repairing
§ Glitching inside buildings.
§ Modifying game files for vehicles and weapons.
§ Items not included in this list would be up to EA & DICE to interpret.

Finally a logical post. The issue has never been about an intangible thing such as "Fun". It's always been about the lack of enforcement by EA in enforcing their own rules.

My wife won't come near me again until i've earned my kissing ribbon. It's a lot of hard work padding the stats.

I also don't care if people play on K&P servers - or if people run ranked K&P servers. I have expert knife already and veteran pistol (I think), so if they want to go in there to work on those badges, more power to them.

This game has been out for over a year now. Most people who've been playing that long and actually care about their stats already have the majority of the badges and awards. The people who go play on those servers will likely never make it to the top of the leader boards, so does it really affect anyone adversely?

Considering the fact that the commander hack is rampant and other exploits (hiding inside buildings) are commonplace, K&P servers are small fish.

the reason why i like this is that you play bf2 in slow motion.

you should try it sometime, is good sometimes to change game play.

I used to report them. Now I don't. I usually don't go play on them but hey, if EA won't do anything about those servers, I'm not wasting my valuable fragging time reporting them.

this is completely different and the dumbest comparison i've ever seen. of course someone using an aimbot or cheats in a server you're playing in would affect you. someone on a knife/pistol server would not affect you in any way unless you are on the server playing with them. if you are not who cares. if you are then you shouldn't be complaining. get over it. find something better to do with your time.
