just learning to fly... I'm about 1:1 right now... after 4 hours in a jet I only have 100 kills hahaha. I'm nooob when it comes to a jet.

First buy a joystick...

Then play singleplayer on Hard at Op. Clean Sweap (AA bot = no mercy) for a while before you even attemp to go Multi.

Took me till patch 1.1 to get pretty good at flying. Even then, I didnt get a perfect round until patch 1.12 and now a perfect round is really rare. I did my first one on wake yesterday. woot woot! I used to REALLY suck at flying and im barely fixing my k/d up now. Im almost at 5 lol.

Get a Logitech 3d Pro joystick then enjoy. Takes bleedin ages to get good. But it is fun. Don't check my stats cause I did practice in game untill I worked out how to create my own server. Jets are fun and the choppers are neat.

I still suck after almost 250 hours of playing (about 40 hours in a jet) but I'm a pretty good helicopter pilot.

So I guess I've spent way over half my time as infantry.

i could never fly with a mouse. The i got fed up stopped flyimg for 6 months then decided to set up my joystick and wahey i was killing everything. Thanks to about 500hrs of FS2002 im pretty good! lol

it took me 3 week ends to fly comfortably( not to crash), then theres the tactics and the bombing witch took me about along time to learn and adapt through the different patches.

Fun thing is, those suckers use APCs as Mobile AAs, they can hit you with them just as well as with the Mobile AA cannons. I thank DICE that they didnt teach the bots how to use the tanks like this :laugh:
