So..who gets to beta 1.4?

After viewing the community update I think he says 10-15k people?
But he says it will be people who play alot..he mentions clans..but not pubbers, nor does he mention how people will be notified.

Im just wondering cause Id really like to join in on the beta..
But I have no idea hwo its gonna work to be selected..
I pull in about 2 1/2 to 4 hours playing..Ive got over 100k points..I mean shouldnt that be a shoe in to play?
Yeah Im a Karkandaholic..as is most of the community..but with that much play time anyone of use knows there a$$ from a hole in the wall on every map.

So to sum it up..who and how?

I hope EA puts the beta in the hands of people who are smart and know how to beta test, hopefully some clans...

but knowing this community as soon as someone gets it they will upload and post it all over the place...so in reality you probably don't have to worry too much about "Not getting picked".

Edit:....duh open beta...yeah totally forgot. :)

Then if anyone can dl it, wouldnt it just be patch 1.4, not BETA 1.4? Then the next patch would be a 1.41 or 1.5

be it 1.4 patch, and 2142..........it wont matter.
Because each one will be so afraid to speak their mind regarding bugs, because they are afraid they wont get their dice t-shirt....or even more silly, afraid collin wont be their online friend. Thus a buggy, unbalanced game will ship.
Dice. You know what the community wants. You know how to build games. Go back and look at the final BF1942 game. Its a work of art, from the maps, the statics, to the gameplay. True rock paper deal, for sure. SO go and make that game..............and outsell all previous titles.

I wouldnt. I would rip collin a new one. Frankly i dont give a **** about anyone at DICE and would be glad to tell them about bugs and speak my mind and I really dont care if their feelings get hurt.

This beta test is for everyone, you heard the early beta about BF2142. Thats what your thinking about.

LOL, thats what i was thinking too.

Well if i got in the 2142 beta a would tell them straight what is wrong and what needs fixing.
