Hey all i don't' know if this is the right forum for this but my problem is .. i use fraps for video capture but it sucks .. every time i save my vid and i wanne watch it runs ****ing slow just like a pc with a 1,000,000 viruses and is there a other progamma what i can capture my in game sh*t hollaa

my specs are .. . AMD 3700+ 2,2 .. 1gig ram geforce 7900 GTX 512mb 300GB harddisk .. wat do u know more ??... and why is the vid of fraps 3,90 GB ???

your making it run too long, and if it was to compress itself it would cause even more lag so your better off compressing it when you finish

When you run fraps, write 99 fps on setting and half screen, no sync.

and yea as said before, vids are not compressed when they are compiled.

I run at like 100fps and full screen. The reason why it doesn't compress it because by the time it records the footage it doesn't have time to compress it.... all this info can be found in the Help of Fraps... and yes when I watch the Fraps it can be laggy, but when I import to Premier to edit it looks fine. Sometimes it even lags up in Premier but then when I export it looks fine

My sound is always screwed up in FRAPs. I have an SB live! 24 bit 5.1 etc etc sound card. what am I doin wrong?

have you tryed both sound options?

detect best sound input
use windows input

so i must compres it when i'm done with recording ( what progamma must i use )
but i want the best quality in the movie what must i need ? to get the Best quality in the movie ltr.

Didnt understand for what you need programs..

as for the quality, if you want the best best best, dont compress it.
if not, i recommend xvid or indeo video
