Re: a question re picking up kits..
Technically yes you can, but no, its only 5 mines or 2 clay mores, because as son the bag of the kit you were using disappears so does the mines or claymores, so what I mean is you can have 10 mines, but just for a few seconds, same as if you got killed and spawn as a engineer again u can set 5 more mines before the first set disappear.

do what I do, sit in a corner and keep switching kits; it's great to have a MG when you're a lone sniper at an enemy base.

I always grab a sniper, or engineer kit and throw out some mines or claymores then switch back to my regular kit.

As far as I know you can't place more than 5 mines or 2 claymores from your own kits, but if you pick up enemies' kits you can lay theirs without yours disappearing.

Yeah I gotta learn to do sh!t like that. It's little things like that, which tend to give you an advantage in battle.Originally posted by Auto-ER-I always grab a sniper, or engineer kit and throw out some mines or claymores then switch back to my regular kit.

That works, but doesn't those claymores disappear after a while since you're no longer the sniper class? That seems to always happen to me... And sometimes there aren't anymore claymores in that bag, they usually spam them near their flags they respawned from anyways.Originally posted by Auto-ER-I always grab a sniper, or engineer kit and throw out some mines or claymores then switch back to my regular kit.

Re: a question re picking up kits..
With AT mines, you can drop 5, when you try and throw your 6th one the very 1st one will disappear. Claymore behavior seems a bit different, you can have up to 4 active as long as they come from 2 different kits. Dropping 2 clays and reloading wont do it.

yea, they do dissapear if the kit dissapears, but hey, for that couple of minutes they are there, you just might get a couple kills from em. its better than nothing. its like having a temporary powerup.Originally posted by PluckyX24That works, but doesn't those claymores disappear after a while since you're no longer the sniper class? yea if i find a dead medic or support kit i throw all the bags around too, great way to get points if you alone have 800 ammo and medic bags on the carrierOriginally posted by Auto-ER-I always grab a sniper, or engineer kit and throw out some mines or claymores then switch back to my regular kit.
