No, there is no changing your in-game name. You can add the prefix for a slight appearance change in game, but the only way to get a different name is to create a new account.

It would be nice of tags (prefix) were extended to say 15 characters and logon name was amde invisible. That way could display your desired name but your logon name remains unique.

I agree that would be nice. It takes away from the p*ss funny names that were in bf1942, when u could change anytime.

Patch cannot change the gamespy ID system. I doubt they will extend the prefix length either. There are too many more important things that really need to be fixed immediately. I would gladly take your worst in game name and use it as long as my game and server wouldn't crash.

it would be nice if you could set a display nickname that would be your in game nick and your log-in name wouldnt have to change
