Again, as I said, I did not shoot the SU-34 while it was attempting to take off. I was engaged with it near River Fort and followed it into their uncap while it was attempting to rearm (not landing). I shot it down within the uncap and they kicked me for it.

Apparently their rule is that you have to break off the engagement as soon as they enter the confines of the uncap.

I stumbled upon the 420TN server yesterday while trying out other Oman servers.

The round ended about as soon as I got in and the map reloaded. I was one of the first in (as USMC) and high-tailed it over to MEC airbase to steal the Mig-29. I didn't fire a shot in the uncap (even when I stole the jet). I stole it successfully and later on one of the 420TN guys gets into the SU-34. I spotted him and followed him into his uncap when he was trying to rearm.

I shot him down in the uncap with guns only and not 5 seconds later was kicked for "attacking uncaps". Hrmm....yeah...

I came back in and politely asked for an explanation, yet the kicking admin did not reply. After 10 minutes of trying to get an answer out of the guy, I gave up.

Note: when I came back, I spawned in as MEC and was repeatedly bombed by USMC while they didn't hold all the flags. Yet no action was taken against them. Yet when the admin got bombed, those players were kicked. It's amazing how the rules only seem to apply to actions against administrators there (or, at least from what I experienced).

just a tid bit off the subject a tad, had to ban a 420 from our server last night for TKing...

I'd say Colony is the best pilot in BF2, no idea what some of his tricks are or maybe he works for the government and they gave him a Joystick with special powers, created by the military?

No he's just a l33t haxor who's momma keeps him supplied with happy meals....

I can see your point, but have you considered what happens to everyone on your team if you don't let him take the jet?

Scenario 1: Colony is feeling nice, so he let's some beginner take the MiG at the start of the round. The MiG dies in about 30 seconds, therefore the Su-34 also dies because he has no wingman. Then, the two F35's proceed to spawn camp the MEC airfield for the ENTIRE GAME. All 16 players on your team will constantly whine about the spawn campers, meanwhile, it was that ONE noob at the start who was the cause of the whole thing.

Scenario 2: Colony, or another skilled pilot, takes the MiG at the start of the round. He shoots down both F35's within 60 seconds, and basically owns the **** out of the entire USMC team, making it easier for everyone on his TEAM to do whatever they feel like doing, without fear of being raped from above.

It's not that skilled pilots are 'entitled' to the jets, but giving it to them is the smart thing to do, because it benefits the entire team.

But hey, if you feel that you'd rather deny him the jet, and cause your team to get camped for 20 minutes straight, that's your prerogative



P.S. - I have also been banned from 420 for 'attacking uncaps', even though I all I did was chase an enemy chopper which happened to be flown by an admin. The rule on that server is simple, if you own an admin, or take his vehicle, he will just make up a bs reason to ban you.

This is also the general mindset on Moongamers, DPG or any other 24/7 Oman server. I've been banned from every single one of them.

These days I play on Wake Wake Axxium 24/7 - base raping is totally allowed, and the admin leaves us alone for the most part. Sometimes he accuses me of using an aimbot, but hey nobody's perfect. :)

I take issue with you saying dpg does that too and I am not dpg, in fact i dont play that server but my l33t aircore does and in fact my guys dont rape airfields and dont get kicked from it, and in fact i have listend to dpg admins chat and they seem like fair nice folks...

It's all relevant my friend. There are some nice guys on DPG, don't get me wrong. But if you're not a personal friend of theirs, and you play there long enough, you WILL get banned for no reason eventually.

I got banned by TEC Wolf holic, for no reason whatsoever. He says he "watched me" attack the uncaps, meanwhile I know for a FACT that I didn't go near it.

When I tried to plead my case to the DPG guys, they told me f.uck off, and banned me not only from the server, but from the entire DPG website!! Yeah, nice guys

I just got back from that server.

I killed their bomber over 10 times... lol... and I killed the fighter alot too. It was so great.. dragonmac wasn't in the jet but he was on the MEC. Earlier before that game I was in the bomber and went 43-0, killing JSF's only.. I didn't bomb one thing. I killed some MoB| clan member so many times. He also called me a hacker.

LOL I don't know why I didn't take SS's.. I forgot all about this thread.

Point 1: I agree with you in principal. I play 90% of the time on one of two servers and know the regulars and their skills. If there's a pilot there that I know is better than I, I'll gladly defer to him. However, there is still typically at least half of the server population or more that I don't know and if colony were to show up he'd be in that group. Since there is no built in way to gauge an unknown player's skill level, your statement above really isn't often practical.

Point 2: In 90% of the rounds on a vehicle map, the opposing pilots are average or worse. Therefore, it doesn't take having a BF2 flying "ace" on your team to have fun on the map or for your team to do well. All the team really needs is pilots that are equal to the enemy pilots so they offset one another.

So I just got banned from the server for owning the admins..

I got banned for "attacking uncappable base"..... yeah... since when is a jet that is over the center of the map, "attacking uncappable base".... haha. And you can see I am at the ****ing carrier.. Wow... I hate that server.







Oh... and I got TK'd for a jet, by the ADMIN.... I spawn, blow him up with his jet, and I get kicked. I told them I got that all on video and i'm sending it in to BFROE to get their server shut down because there were other complaints too (just to scare them... i'm way too lazy to report a server).

Then I told the other admins, and they said "file a complaint in our forums"...

So I get pissed off and just kill them, and of course, I get, BANNED!... for "attacking an uncappable"..................

after being owned about 5 times, he decided to make up a new rule on the spot that you cannot kill any enemy aircraft if they are anywhere near their home base

Iv done this alot in there server and you dont understand How many times iv been banned for stupid reason that really wernt. SOme of them were killing him to many times. I used to paly in there alot and own it up but iv stoped becuse theres no competion in there.
