The prefix box needs to be longer

My clan tag is =[MI5]= but will not fit in the box so we have to use =[MI5] or =MI5= it would be nice if EA could allow more characters in the prefix box as it would make a few clans i know happy as they are in the smae boat as us :)

Do the extra brackets and equal signs improve your scrim and match performance in the same manor that stickers make honda civics faster?

There is a guide in the BF2 section that covers how to manually editing your prefix. Try that, it should enable more characters to be used, I don't know.

Better question... is the clan M15 or is it pronounced "Equal Bracket M Fifteen Bracket Equal".

Because if it is actually "Equal Bracket M Fifteen Bracket Equal" then I feel bad for you.

However, if its just "m15" then I say loose the windowdressing and pwn minus the superfluous(SIC) characters.

I agree actually, the equal signs just make it look retarded. The brackets are fine, though.

Unless the equal signs are pronounced.

Like, un=ity (unequality) (OK, thats actually kinda cool... what have I just created?)

Wow, yeah, that was awesome, never thought of it before. But for non-english people it would sound retarted :) (un equals ity, that's also kinda cool)

To put in the prefix you want, you have to do this:

C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles and open the Global.CON file. Put what you want between the brackets

then once you have done it make the file read only so the game cannot change it back, thats what i do :)
