Dear Dice: How you can make me fall in love again.

I might be stepping a bit over the line here in my judgement and thought process here, but after watching the collin video where he speaks with clan members from DEATH FROM ABOVE....... I drew this conclusion.

The community in general is ticked off just enough, that they are no longer buying something that says...... "BATTLEFIELD" on it. You see, after BF1942, the community in general bought anything saying battlefield on it. BF42 expansion packs.....vietnam.......BF2, and, special forces. But after special forces, i believe that has changed. I think that lackluster sales of booster packs kinda tell that story. Along of course with the feeling that DICE is against the wall here. They just got bought out, or sold too, however you want to say it, to EA. Now EA, as we all know looks at numbers, not people.
I believe EA at purchase figured, hey...if its battlefield, its sells. Now i think that tide has changed. So..i get the impression DICE is out to "WIN" the community back, and get us all back in.... "HELLL I"LL BUY ANYTHING WITH BATTLEFIELD WRITTEN ON IT" mode.
Heck, with community spirits down on BF2, lackluster sales, and play of the booster packs, and stiff competition comming from Quake Wars Enemy Territory....its gonna be a battlefield in itself when shelf time comes.
So......if your still reading this......write down here..... what.....
Its gonna take to make you buy anything Dice puts out the door.
So.......whats it gonna be.
They have already opened the door with Open Beta of both the 1.4 patch, and the BF2142 game itself.
So.............what else do you folks need, or want to fall in love again?

i in all honesty would just love to have a game that is supported and u can just sit down and have some real fun playing not the pandamonium that it is now.

Totally agree.

DICE should have given the BF2 community the Euro Force and Armored Fury booster packs for free since all the crap we have gone through with their ****ed up patches.

Rewind function will never happen. I mean how the hell is the engine supposed to render backwards? Doesnt make sense. Wargimp could probably explain better.

Death from above? If it's the same DFA I used to smoke the **** out of in BHD they should be interviewing clans with talent. Just another check on the ****up list.

Mm.. I would buy a Battlefield game again if it's just like BF2 in the beginning It was a good game in the beginning but all the patches/nerfing messed it up..

So I'd buy a Battlefield game if I can say it's a good game there's nothing wrong it with. No stupid messed up patches, everything is balanced.. The only BF2 Games I played were 1942 Demo (Too lazy to buy the game..) and Battlefield 2..

I hope Dice get's it right now with BF2142..

Well I disagree to an extent - BF2 had enormous potential when it went gold but was still fairly screwy
However, the patching just had no focus and changed some fairly important stuff when it did not need to be changed
Not to mention the sloooooow pace of bug fixes which should have been a priority and the stupid gameplay changes

Agree, the game was destroyed by all the whiners who cried when they got killed by good players .
