unlocking weapons

Hi, im fairly new to this game i just have a quick question about unlocking weapons. I always pretty much play as special ops. i've already unlocked 2 weapons 1 for sniper and 1 for special ops. However i want to unlock the 2nd gun (the best 1) for special ops. But from my last unlock it didnt let me, do i have to unlock all weapons that are 1st and then the 2nd ones? Does that make sense?

Yeah, you need to buy Special Forces and then you can unlock the level 2 weapons. You don't need to unlock them in any order, though, so as soon as you buy Spec Forces you will be able to unlock the second spec ops gun.

that sucks. so if i dont get special forces no weapon for me ever?! ;(
if i get special forces, can i still play the original bf2 maps and stuff?

Yea, you can't get the SF unlocks if you don't have SF, you could get somebody to log in as your account and play one round in a SF ranked server, but you gotta find somebody first. ANyways, i advise you this, stick with the G36C, that gun is just plain UBER, and it pwns the SCAR-L by lightyears.

really, because when i get lucky enough to pick up SCAR-L sometimes, i feel it has a WAY better accuracy

It doesn't don't let the lack of aimpoint on the G36C confuse you, it has statistically the lowest recoil of all the weapons, and it is the most accurate full auto gun, and the seventh most accurate gun in game (behind the L96, M24, M95, SVD, TYpe-88, and the QBZ-97).

G36c is better trust us. The scar is a bit more powerfull but is only really accurate in 1 shot mode. ^^^ what he said

G3 would be much nicer if it had another 10 rounds, and a GL. Without the GL it doens't really make it stand out, so of course the F2000 is the better assualt. G3 isn't a terrible weapon, just makes you like a medic without the med packs and defibs+ a bit more HP.

Actually the G3A3 is the most powerful assault rifle in the game, so it should give you a slight edge over the F2000 as long as he doesnt use his launcher.

aww rats, that's annoyign that they let people use their special forces unlocks in BF2 maps which gives soem of them a big advantage over us little people with out baretts and our G3s and all... About this idea of getting someone else to play on your account with SF, do you have to already have the unlocks waiting or can you play on SF once and then form then on you'll be able to get the unlociks even on BF2?

you can also log-in on some1's computer who has SF, if you play for a few sec you will have all the unlocks :) (needs some updat time)
