    Port Forwarding Nightmare

At first in my port forwarding setup I had unlocked all the ports mentioned in the manual. I could still not start a dedicated server and have people join.

    Then I tryed this...

And it still didn't work... I nearly lost my mind cursing because it made no sense . I unlocked every single damn port for both 'BF2' and 'BF2_w32ded'.

What the heck am I doing wrong? I checked allow NAT negotiation and still no luck.

you could try dmz so you basically bypass all firewall, but after each game you would have to disable it to be protected again.

Are you sure the ports are opened in your firewall too?
