Oh if any map has to be added it has to be lost village from desert combat,now that was a class map....

I think it wouldnt hurt EA to add a load of diffrent ranked maps,it will keep us all interested

My absolute favorite map for 1942. That would be AMAZING. I just think they wont release it because EA cant come up with a story for it. I mean where would Normandy fit in with the overall 'story' *cough cough*?

ok but where did brining back a map of a now unihabited island have revelance? they should have done the Philipenes where there is actually an insurgeny in place.

wake island would be a VERY valuable fortification for anyone wanting to invade the US, Its got an airfield, and its very close to US soil.

I think the Omaha map sucked in 1942, the beach part was sometimes fun when everybody was storming it, with tanks on the hills going up towards the village but after the beach, it was such a boring and repetetive map.

Why not a better fly map. Coral Sea would be fun, or how about Midway.

The landing would be with the "rubber boats" .Maby 2 blackhawks.Very hard to get up with the enemy tanks,snipers and SAW's.

I was very upset when I realized that the conversion of all BF1942 maps to the BFV engine was simply dropped and forgotten about.

I'd love to play ALL of the old BF1942 maps in the BF2 engine!!!!

There's a website where you can download it, but I don't know about any servers that run it:http://www.strategyinformer.com/pc/b.../map/7124.html . I haven't tried it yet.
