Strange 5200 can run bf2 high

Hi guys I was sooo bored so I play around with my setting so I try everything on HIGHEST then I load 64 server...I RAN PERFECT I EVER HAD I WAS SOO HAPPY then the next day I get a other server the loading took forever took me 5mins then I LAG LAG LAG choppy I still choppy and didt crash...normaly I run med all med x2aa

I think something was missed in the translation, a 5200 on all high? Unless your being like most with the all high except EVERYTHING is on low.

Lets look at his sig:
X2, spent way too much on this proc, should've bought a 3800+.
You can't use a 5200 on an nforce 4 sli board, since there isn't an agp slot. If you bought the pci version, you aren't very smart. Also, nvida doesn't make a 7950gt, so you're wrong again.
4gb of ram, another mark of someone with too much money and no brains. You've maxed out your dimm slots, so you're most likely running at a 2t ddr333, instead of 1t ddr400.

Conclusion=Either you're lying, or you don't mind playing at 0.1fps.

you know what? Any settings I put my 6800gs on I get EXACTLY the same fps. Strange huh?

That could be because you have verticle sync turned on in your drivers, turn it off.

i know running on 4 sticks is kinda of a donwgrade, but i used to run on x2 512mb pc2700 ram and it was ok, then i added x2 512mb(pc2700 & 3200) more, and man loading times are fast and im always either the second one or the first one on any sever. anyways i think 4 gigs is an overkill and yes waste of money too.

The fact that he calls it "noforce SLI" was a give away I thought.

Maybe he's talking about just running BF2 with a 5200 while he was "all high" himself? As in smokin the whacky backky?

I doubt you played on high with good FPS, there is a TINY bit of hope, but like Mat Def said you are probably lying or were smoking too much weed.
