I can not believe that after all the god damn wining about that the mods should be released and everything, and now that a good MOD is out, almost Noone is playing it.
Why are you Vanilla Lamers still playing stock BF2!?!?!?!?
I hate attempts at bringing reality to BF2; longer respawn queues and things like eliminating health and ammo stats from your hud, limiting jump height etc, etc. On the flip side I have no interest in playing “romper room” battlefield 2 regarding the other side of the spectrum with things like walking around with an artillery gun on your back, jet rockets on the APC or tanks, pistols that rapid fire missiles etc, etc.
Maybe when a good WWII mod hits I’ll give it a try, if it isn’t some hard core reality based mod.
Give me Fogotten Hope 2 and I'll be happy for life
I'll second that Rico.

great mod but the interest completly died after AF, the a10 was why most people downloaded it as sad as that is. i think their sky high polygon count per static object was killing most players, lagging them out hardcore. they need to go over the whole mod with the new bf2 editor to reduce the poly count and i bet they will have a much better success on the next version.
Yea, DesertCombat was huge and this is the sequel. Guess how big its gonna be with BF2! I can't wait to play DessertConflict, gimmie gimmie and we'll be on top of life. lol
