Is the community ruining BF2?

Every time I visit these forums I see people complaining about something. For example today I see the claymores...nerfing med/resupply rumors...jet/heli whore comments. I just don't understand how people can complain about anythign in this game except bugs and glitches. YOU ALL HAVE ACCESS TO THE SAME EQUIPMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do all the complainers just do the same thing over and over, so when something is constantly killing them they just whine about it. How retarded is that.

Why not use a different kit....change to the kit or get the weapon that keeps killing you and see how it works. Odds are it won't be that easy to get kills with. All aspects of this game need some type of skill or insight into what you are doing to be successful.

All the whining and complaing has led to things getting nerfed....nothing has got better. I think the community needs to adapt to the game instead of trying to change it for their tunnel vision style play. Sorry for the small rant

Your rant is definitly justified, but what ppl are complaining about the most are the aspects of the game that make it so unadaptable. When u hear someone complain about noob flyers, there just making a simple joke or trying to start a conversation. We all like to imput on our fav stories of some retard in jet or a tank, or a heli, etc.

Jet and heli whores are something you just can't fix, these threads are complaints but EA doesn't care about them. All the complaining threads about nerfing are totally justified. EA messed up the game by doing that, so if we're not to speak out, who will? It's more of a cry for change than a complaint, because we just want it differently. That's natural. I'm sure you have some things about BF2 that you don't like, too, so it's not like we're the only ones with opinions, we just post our opinions hoping EA will listen for once.

I think the game was probbaly best when it came out.

Or mayube right after that patch where they fixed the PKMs(made them more accurate).

I wished they would just fix the damn server crash issue and leave the game alone forever.

Your not the only one.. I still believe that Heli Missiles should have had a longer range.. and that Jets are very unbalanced. And a lot of different things.. They are constantly adding things like.. CRAP What doesn't works just like the vehicle drop come on after this patch I'll bet there will be videos again on Google Video and Putfile how glitches are done etc.

See my sig for the general attitude of most people on the forums. EA listen, and they do these nerfs instead of fixing bugs. It's what the "community" asked for, after all.

Global Stats (and what it does to people and players) is what has ruined the BF series in general. Bf2 is just what started it.

Actually EA cares very much about the complaints. (dice anyways, which is EA just an fyi.)
They care so much......in fact,
that the next patch is open beta, and the next GAME, 2142 is gonna be open beta, with over 10,000 people being able to download it and give feedback.
DOes EA/DICE care about people being ****y with a game?
You better believe it. ESPECIALLY with a new title on the horizon. Bad press/complaints = bad sales.

what would bf2 be without global stats just playing with no unlocks kiling people and stuff ooo how fun. but then u wont be able to see whos better than u etc. i play the game with unlocks stats etc cuz its hella fun

BF 1942 didnt have a stats system(except for the third party stuff) and guess what.....it was fun, people were playing the game because they liked it, not to earn that next silly award. They were no(or less) asshats who statpad and all that crap.

It was indeed fun, a hell of alot funner than BF2 infact

Uh I don't really care about stats the only thing I like are those little logo's besides your name I just want a pretty looking logo that's it.. I think colonel (The Hawk/Eagle w/e it is..) is the most cooles one.. If I got my little cool logo I 'll stop getting way more points then I usually do.. But yesterday my SPM will change since I found the TV2 64 MAN Servers ^^..

Part of the community is CS players the 1942 community was not this bad. It'd be nice if many of the community consisted of the guys who post on here, but alot of those guys are rarely seen. BF2 gets bigger everyday. I seen more privates and Private First Classes play.

People who only care about their stats like this game. If Bf2 didn't have stats it wouldn't be as many playing it but it would have its core community like 1942 did. So yes a majority of the community are ass holes and do ruin the game.

As zuiquan1 said, BF1942/DC didn't have global stats and that's the game that started this community.

yup you are 100% right, the so called community are ruining bf2, the game was quite alot fairer when it first came out, ok yea there were a few small things that needed a tweak, but when people whine, dice go too far and make something far less fun than it once was. and the majority of complainers are people that play karkand 24/7 and are too stupid to adapt and use their brain to stay alive on any other map.
