Yea I just looked up your character and checked your stats out. They are mighty impressive, you have expert knife and pistol, thats really good. And how did you get a best round score of 431 on SAK?

Its easier then u think. Some SAK 64 player servers dont have a lot of players but alot of tickets. The match I got that score lasted about 2 hours. The server never gained over 16 players so it was realitivly simple to just cap flag a kill guys in armour. I think I was a commander in that round.

I knew some noob would say that, and it ended up being u. If u go to Bf2tracker.com and look up the top scores for SAK, I'm not on it. Actually, the highest score starts at 700 pts in a round and goes up. So, I must have sucked that round.

hey guys

I really wanted to get the knife badge and I need help getting it, I have read all the threads on the "tips and tricks" section but they haven't helped me much. The closest I ever got to getting it was on Strike at karkand. I came really friendly with our Commander and he told me where the enemy Commander was and I keeped knifing him, I also got a few sniper knife kills on that round. I ended with about 5 knife kills. And from then on I am having heaps of touble getting it.

If you can please help me that would be great.:)

I knew some noob would say that, and it ended up being u. If u go to Bf2tracker.com and look up the top scores for SAK, I'm not on it. Actually, the highest score starts at 700 pts in a round and goes up. So, I must have sucked that round.

I'm not a noob, but I do believe you. Even though that score suggests it your stats don't suggest statpadding.

With around 10% of my score and time, I would say it is you, not I, who is the noob.

Dive knifing is the most effective method in my opinion. Karkand is a great map for it, especially in the alleys around the hotel and also once the battle has moved to the square.

Dolphin diving was the best, but it was removed in some early patch. Now it's only "diving" :cry: ...

If you really want the badge, spawmcamp. Wait at one of the spawing alleyways near the hotel, when the pop up, run and stab them, and go back, do that over and over. I got mine on Dragon Valley. My team was baseraping them, so I was just there waiting for them to spawn up. When they spawn up, they think I am one of them because I am too close to them, and before they know it...

But then as I played the game more, I found out it's really not that hard. It is very easy to stab the support players. That because they have a horrble accuracy, short sprint, and usually are proning (easy to stab from the back). If you were going on a knife streak, you should be in a kit that has a long sprint time, the sniper kit works very well.

It is also very easy to stab snipers. That's because when they aim in their scope, they cannot see whats happening in front or behind them and they are mostly found camping on high places or just plainly, they dont move. just beware of claymores.

same here m8..its nothing to be ashamed of lol...thats how i got my basic pistol too. The funny thing is, even though they just got spawn raped, they still spawned ta the same place lol. About 4 of my knife kills were on the same guy LMAO

Dive out of their sight and bust their ankles!

get in the back of the enemy unnoticed

kill guys who are concentrated on killing(mostly snipers)

stab people that are in a statonary weapon(LMGs ,TOWs etc.)

By the way, I love stabbing snipers. It pleases me to no end to sneak up one one thats focused on something else, firing a shot behind him to get him to try and turn around, and then give him the business end of my knife in his face. Sometimes, Ill continue to stab him in the face after hes dead to get my point across. Its so much fun.

Don't stay on the same server and try for the same badge over and over again. Switch servers to another local one. As stated above, 64 person servers with only 16 or so people in them will definitely give you the time opportunity to complete your task. The rest is focus and practice. Your favorite knife map will change. Mine are currently in BF2SF but was Songua Stalemate for the longest time. I usually go sniper if I am knifing but others suggest a more armored character. With me, so many of the snipers look the same and at close range, people may not see your red name or may not be paying attention if they are medic and used to seeing Red things running towards them.

I got mine camping the stairway on the wall west of Market on SAK. I was USMC, our team had the Hotel and Square flags. MEC guys kept coming up that stairway and were all looking down toward the Square. No one bothered to look for a sniper laying prone on the north side of the starirs with his knife out.

And the best part was you could get multiple kills on the same guy because a medic would come to top of the stairs, prone and revive, thinking the guy was shot from the Square, only for me to stab him in the foot again.

I found Sharqi 32/64 slot server to be the best map to knife on. The construction yard is good...go up the side that doesn't have the flag. A lot of people will guard the flag in that area. It is also a spawn area.

If your playing US. Spawn at the city entrance and head towards the left area near where the tank spawns. There is always snipers up there waiting.

Karkand playing as mec is good. Spawn forward the head over toward the river area. If you run up towards the hill you can actually get up there, but you have to plan your run well or you just fall down. You can sneak up there and get some snipers that are usually zoomed in and easy targets.

Play a class that can run, don't pull your knife out till your going to for your kill. This will protect you incase your prey turn around on you.

Use UAV as a guide. Zoom your mini-map all the way in.

Other maps that have a high sniper count are always good. oh and never take the road most travled. Try and stay out of high traffic areas, loop around them and come at the from behind.

That's the reason why I stopped using my one sig...Someone would get hung up on stats and hassle you cause they don't have the skills of other people.

I would always invite them to play on our server and witness for themselves, get on our vent server, and join my squad....and I'll show you how it's done.

Problem with BF2 is people are so quick to cry foul. Worry about getting your skills better and stop crying about someone better then you.
