Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Can't wait to play them. I will then just swap out the binoculars for the nightvision goggles to create an alternate for my Special Forces Unlocks mod.
It looks even better in the game due to the tv flicker effect from the goggles kinda blurring the screen cap. Looks neat without the nvg's in the moonshine reflecting on the water. Going to have to adjust the chopper nightvision as it's all grey.
I tried your unlocks, but it kept CTD during startup. Still playing with it.
Just finished up one helacious round on it. We had capped up to the Central Island when they pushed us all the way back to the beach.
is it just pitch black without the night goggles? seems like a bit much for planes/helos, the way they do the nighttime in midnight sun is pretty cool though.
The problem with night maps is... that instead of one huuuge light in the game, you have to add heaps of small ones all over the place. It's a simple cause to a complex problem, as you'll see.
I suppose for the sake of arguement, you could implement a moon with 1/18th the brightness of the sun.. but things would just be hard to see.
Like the idea, but it's implementation will be a bit iffy.
You have to have SF to run the vanilla maps ay night due to it being hard-coded. I've tried copying all the nvg files over to a SP mod, but it came back with a code error.
There's ambient light from the full moon (which goes contrary to conventional ops):
