More SF medals and ribbons???

right on sum ppls forum accoutns o nthis forum they have a link to a stats page hosted by TBF2.

i was looking thru my own and noticed at the bottom there are some extra SF medals that dont feature on either Bf2s.com or the medals page's on this site

the badge is:

Night Vision Combat

and the ribbon:

Airbourne Specialist ribbon

and there's a few medals:

courage award
valour award
service award

no1 seems to ahve these and i cant find any reference on how to get them. are that even able to get???

they were always broken, and there was no way to get the airborne ribbon at all. in patch 1.3 EA removed those awards.

Night Vision Badge was never included by EA, it was in a mod.

Airborne Specialist Ribbon was commented out because there are no planes in SF.

The other three medals were put in just in case EA wanted to add requirements later. I guess they never did.

You can get badges in a mod? For night vision? Really? I never even realized that mods for SF even existed...

update, I just saw this on bf2s.com. maps that possibly had the airborne ribbon / airplanes were taken out before sf was released:

Yes, you can get badges in a mod. Right before SF came out, someone released all of the badges that we thought were going to be in it. Included in this was the Night Vision Badge and the Grenadier Badge. Somehow, these got mixed in with our rumors of the SF badges, but were actually due to come out in some mod (don't remember which one).

Aw man that would've been cool. Why did they take the maps out?

You know what I just thought of? Midnight Express sounds a lot like Midnight Sun, so maybe they turned the SF map into a map for the AF booster pack? It's a night map, too, and the night maps were due to come out with SF.
