I'd like to see the liquid armor deny some rifle rounds next time, a pistol stopper is just not good enough for military service.

Think for a second.

The whole point is to protect the rest of the body that's not covered by the current standard issue body armor. If it offers even minimal protection against a rifle round, it's still a lot better than zero protection.

not to mention shrapnel injuries which are probably far more common than bullet injuries
