Need help installing drivers for nvidia

i have SLI and last time i installed drivers my comp went all crazy on me is there any steps i should take other then uninstalling the video drivers and installing the new ones that might help me because im running version like 81 and they have a version 93 and i'd like to have my cards updated at least to see if it affects BF2 in any way

well i seem to be having problems with 93 and SLi, but ill tell you.
1. DL latest drivers
2. go to control panel, add remove programs and find nvidia drivers. select "display driver only".
3. proceed to uninstall.
4. resart computer
5. once restarted, run Driver cleaner pro (www.drivercleaner.net) and select the cleaner for plain old "nVidia" and clean.
6. once cleaned, close DC and install the new drivers.
7. once installed restart
8. go into your nVidia control panel and enable sli, and you are finsihed !
