F-35 flying

I have been playing this game for a number of months and last month i decided to start flying jets. I know the f-35 is harder to fly as the programs did a crap job and the f-35 is a deathtrap. I know if used correctly it can out fly a j-10 or a mig but how, Have any of you got any tips/tricks to avoiding being shot down by a j-10.

stay fast
swoop and do not get in a turning fight
stay in bomb mode as long as possible

Yeah, if you got a J10 behind you, try pulling up so you're going straight upwards. If the guy behind is a noob, he will continue to pull upwards believing that you're making a loop...

yeah i thought as much but today i was on dalian and i was doing all that and still 2 missiles and im dead even when the break off its utter crap, There must be some way of making them miss at least 50% of the time.

And for the record, no, nothing will help, except flares that are timed perfect... and as you know...they take a while to recharge.. so. lol

It works, but when you go for the kill, seeing as there are always 2 J10's flying becuase they are so much better, you'll always get a J10 on your six when trying to take out another.

That and i also think the J10 respawn time is shorter.

I have what is probably the biggest n00b question ever. I haven't gotten DECENT at flying the jets. I can strafe sitting targets with my guns, bomb pretty good (hitting targets about 60% of the time) but I still suck at dog fights. no matter what I'm flying. But here's where my n00bness truely shines. A couple times I saw an enemy jet in the air and went after him. I even shot one down (one out of like 5) but when I take my eyes off the mini map for even a short time I end up outside the map and R Lee Emery starts yelling at me. but usually I'm so far outside the map that I don't even show up on the mini map thus I don't know which way to fly to get back in the map area. Is there a little marker showing where I'm at that I'm missing? and yes I've zoomed out on the mini map.

flare, press and hold "s" and the j-10 will pass u in no time.
