Question from a pre SF player

Hi guys,

I used to play BF2 and stopped just before the Special forces add on. My question is this. Im thinking of installing BF2 again now after updating it are people still playing the original BF2 or has everyone bought copies of SF?

Actually, quite the opposite. You'll find more servers running plain BF2 than those running SF. Most servers won't play both since the way they were created was basically two different games, so to switch from one to the other you have to exit the game and load it up again.

So, if you're worried about not finding servers, then you have nothing to worry about.

There are lots of servers, always have been. The #'s seem to be dwindeling somewhat.
