i might have an explanation for wat happened to u and ur friend.

its a thing that gaming servers does so that their servers gets clients. wat they do is if 1 of their server is full, they will make the server look like that its not full and still has space, like by displaying 62/64 but the server actually has only 62 slots.( its not reservered slots, its an whole other story, since u dong get rejected and get a message saying slot resever crap). then the person who connects to this server already full, thinking that its not full gets dirrected to another server of the same gaming comunnity, its got a simular name but probably with a different number or a different map rotation. this way, the gaming community get 62 players playing on one server to track attention ( like a bait) and attracks ppl to their other servers. - my job hIAAR....IS DONE BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH tetetetetshhhhhhhh.

ip matches after u got into the server and verified the ip or matches when u give the exact ip of the server ur in and gave it to ur friend ? cuz when he enters the ip u give him. the first time, it will load the server witch u gave him,( the server that ur actually in), then when the server realize that its full, thats when it redirects u, mid serverloading, it will not notify u or anything.

yes.....we notice different server info, and graphic.....but we decided to stay and wait till he got into the game to verify in game.....we were both in game reading off the exact same IP and port in different servers

                        Thanks for the seconds back.

My 2 cents, correct me if I am drastically erroneous in my inferences.

Is it possible that the computer that is running the servers is actually, 1 computer? It could be high-end enough that they might be able to run 2 BF2 ded's on it...

Which would explain the identical IP as well as port.

                        Right?

That only ever worked in CS, to my knowledge there has never been and currently is no software that can do that, at least on a Ranked server.

You could definitely have a server that powerful, but it would need to have a different port at the very least and possibly a different IP address. If the ports are the same it will be impossible for the clients to differentiate between the "two" servers when sending data.

Sorry to say this but, your friends hate you. They act like they want to play with you, so they join a different server on purpose and when you ask for the IP, they give you the wrong one, but if you somehow get in their server, they TK you and call it an accident. Stick to single player :) *jk*
