        On 16 slot servers probably.

When going for 64 turn AF off, AA possibly 2x but texture filtering on high.

DOn't use the AA or AF of your Nvidia driver panel, use the built in AA function and texture filtering of BF2

I run those settings but aa to x2 and af to x4, and his video card is better than mine. And im curious as to why not force the settings in control panel? Thats how i get the Transparency Supersampling AA and other things...

Yes but what kind of fps do you get in heated battle on a 64 player map?

                  Re: Settings

Best way to get to know it is run a FRAPS benchmark . It says average, min and max framerate. But running med/high with 2AA when having 7600 , non clocked CPU and a 1gig of ram its unlikely that FPS is 60-70 all time.

What if I just upgraded the RAM to 2 gigs?

Thats exactly what ppl. don't consider when posting their uber fps with their average PC setup.

And when you ask them it's always 16 player maps.

                            Re: Settings

                            I have the following:

                            Asus A8N-E mobo
                            Athlon 64 3200+
                            2GB PC3200
                            GeForce 6800GS

I play at 1600x1200 with every single in-game setting at maximum, and I get a solid 40-50 fps. I usually play 32-48 player maps, but even when I play 64 player maps I don't have any noticeable slowdown.
