All players have lost points due to 1.3 server crashes and the eternal Red/Blue bug. When the 1.31 patch comes out; should players have a 5% bonus added to theri global scores to make up for this?

Take -=RD=-Volx for exaple.
He have 470,612 global points. 5% of that is 23530,6 points... Thats a LOT!

If everyone went up 5% it would effectively do nothing on a global level. Some people might get ranks and stuff.

Krypp, yeah that's a lot, but it doesn't matter. He already has enough points for the highest rank. He just needs his badges.

Oh, and another thought. If EA announced this, then people would try to get as many points as possible so that once the patch was released they would get more from the bonus... statpadding to the max? So would it be 5% of the points you had when the new patch was released, or 5% of the points you had when 1.3 was released?

If they're going to do that it should be an "opt in" thing, cuz I don't want points I didn't earn myself. The point being I'd like to know exactly what I've done in game, that's why I like these stats. Adding 5% would screw that up. Of course I didn't start playing until after 1.3, so I wasn't affected.

But to the people that did get screwed I say ya it's all good.

No, totally useless. Why bother about those bugs and all the points you've "lost". Everybody's lost them, so noone would actually win anything with a 5% bonus...

and besides statistics are to show what u have done, by doing this kind of **** ur statistics are no longer accurate.
Statistics cant be used properly if they arent accurate.
