New weapons?

Sorry if this has been answered but i couldnt find a clear answer on here through searches.

I just started playing bf2 again after 6 months, so when i play i see a few new weapons such as the SCAR-l? and the l95,i was wondering how one would go about obtaining these?

You have to have Special Forces to obtain the new guns.

They are part of the Special Forces expansion pack.

What you need to do is log onto the BFHQ through a SF game. Either you can do it, or you can get a friend who has a copy to log in with your name.

This then allows you access to the unlocks in that version of the game, and they can be used in normal BF2 as well.

Ya, as lil_jimmy said, these are secondary unlocks that you can obtain if you buy the Special Forces expansion pack. It's really good, I highly recommend it.

Or, you could get somebody to log in as you on their SF xpack game, and they play one round as you, then you will get the unlocks.

Do they actually need to play? I thought that was the case and my friend literally just booted up SF and clicked on the BFHQ and got the unlocks right there.

Wow, i dunno, i thought you needed to get at least one point in a SF ranked server.

Don't even ask me, i can give you a screenshot of my PM box filled with requests, and i've done most of them, (and i deleted half of them), my good deed for poor non xpack owners is done.

Lol, not always fun, i used to play SF a little, but i just use SF unlocks for vanilla.
