Why didnt you just delete the BF2 folder in My Documents like I said? There was no need to do a reinstall... And yes I had the exact same prob... arrow would freeze up at kit selection screen and keyboard wouldnt work, not even the Escape key.

Ahhh i think you needed to make it more clear that you DIDNT have to uninstal. All you hade to do was delet the bf2 folder in my documents. In your post tom it sounded like uninstalling was a part of the process.

my stats werent to great i used to play alot and then i quit for awhile and deleted my account by accident. but yea if u would have made it more clear that all i got to do is remove it from my documents but oh well. **** happens.

I had this same issue, and as a few others posted, all of my key mappings had somehow been cleared out, so it appeared as if the keyboard and mouse weren't working. I just reset everything to default, then made my personal changes again.
