Weird
Every time I tried to join a server it said "CD Key Not Valid". My disc is not shady and I have played over 300 hours previously?!? I uninstalled and then reinstalled both the original and expansion back. But now, it won't even get to the the login screen. I click on BF2 and it will show the Battlefield 2 on the desert background. Then it will dissapear and go to a black screen befor the credits to EA and Dice load. It normally does this but it used to then load the EA and DIce logos etc. and then proceed to the game login screen. Now however it stays on the black screen and displays an error message:
mods/bf2/shaders/lighting.fx not found!!! _DO_ check your working directory, _AND_ sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP.(really!)
That is the message and it seems odd. Almost like a virus with the (really!) at the end but all I did was install the game. I have not downloaded v 1.3 again. Do you think that could be the problem or is it a virus?
