Invalid CD Key - Not on a new account!

I have been trying to play BF2 but all i get is the invalid cd key, i know this happens if you try it on a new account but I am using it on the same account!

The only thing that has changed is the admin privileges were turned off but the are turned back on now!
I have used the cd key checker thing and check it with my registry and it is the same!
Also, I am using an images instead of the dvd, could this be a problem? ( I was using this before anyway and had no problems)

yup, had to do that before when i had a problem before.

i go to the registry, right click and edit the value, copy the whole number. then i deleted the value and copied the number back in. still get the "CD-Key Not Valid"

EDIT:: ive just gone back to the registry and made sure all the letters are capitals... it still not working!

great, reinstalling for the 2nd time! i have only had the game 2 weeks!
