I'll be honest, yes there have been a few. Mostly people who see you waiting there for a plane and come up and take it. I'm of the opinion that TKing should be legal in that instance. But yes I'll admit I'm human and do have lapses in good judgement, but in my defence I only intentionally TK f**kers who deserve it.

Intentional TK? Not me. Never happened. Believe me? Ok, I take that back. Like the last poster I'm human and can get "in a mood". Ultimately, it is not rewarding and wrecks your score. My response lately is just to leave the server and find a different one. Or, I leave the game and, I don't know, call a friend to go out. BF2 is a game and we're *supposed* to enjoy playing it.

Well guess-the-****-what.. I paid money for this game too. You are ruining MY fun. I don't HAVE to accept that you suck. There are ways to practice, and they SHOULD BE ****ING USED! If you can't fly.. DON'T. AND GOD FORBID YOU TK ME AND THEN CRASH YOU LITTLE ****! I can accept getting tk'd if the dude who's taking over is actually decent. I'm a fairly good pilot, and tking me is a bad way of getting the jet instead but I don't pursue it. Woe betide anyone who tk's me then crashes that mother****ing jet... he'll have mines on his run-way the next time he tries to get airborne.

Get in my way, and I'll cut you down, I SWEAR it.
Man not everyone plays the game as a team player, sometimes people just play to have fun. Its not your chopper. Sorry.

I know i've been guilty of this, cause NY big pet peeve is when people use cannons on tanks instead of TV missles. After a guy flubs that up a few times I've flown out to the middle of nowhere and just hover. No TK, but just hover. I'll type to them that they should use the TV missles on tanks and helos, and ask if they understand.

I'm trying to give new players benifit of doubt so I give em another shot after that. If they still don't listen, I hover the chopper about 6 feet from being in bounds (no TK) and just hover, and leave my computer for a few minutes. I really don't care if he's there when I get back, and IMO, depriving your team of a AC for a few minutes to get a good gunner is worth it. I'll train anyone to gun, but jesus nothing ****es me off more than cannons on tanks and helos.

I don't TK. Period. Unless I don't have my glasses and I mistake a friend for a foe... I'll make sure to say sorry after kicking his ass.

For your "waiting in line" ****. If you think everyone should wait in line, then you are being completely unrealistic. No one is gonna do that. I dont give a **** if you were there for 20 minutes. You know how you get the plane? You learn to ****ing camp, instead of waiting and then crying that you didnt get it. LEARN TO CAMP. Those dots on the AC, BH, and Jet pads are there for a ****ing reason.

I just wish that when people know they cannot fly a helo efficiently or intelligently, that they would stop waiting there for it and make the entire team suffer because they do not have the common sense to learn in single player or in a empty server.

I am all for the new player getting the feels of the control, and I do not mind them jumping a helo once or twice to get some real combat experience, but if you are lagging the team behind... Give it up and let everyone have a successful game.

Remember, though, there is a pregnant pause before the next TVGM is locked and loaded. Last night, my pilot and I were in a target-rich environment near the beach on Oman, and I'd just torched an APC when along came a tank. He hovered while I lit it up with the cannon, since it was better than nothing (if nothing else, helping reduce it for an AT guy). When we went back the carrier for a re-tread, he typed "use the tv on armor!!!!!" Of course, I would have loved to.

Brings up an interesting conumdrum, though. When you're in a crowd hoping you make it on, you can't pick whether you get on first (pilot) or second (gunner). I'm a passable pilot but a far-better gunner -- if you find yourself in the pilot's seat, I take it there's no way to swap seats without exiting the aircraft, right? I don't like dallying and typing in how we might pull off a switch, all the while giving some dweeb a chance to snipe me out of the helo. Once I take off, unless we're on VOIP (and in a crowd, half the time my new, fellow crew member might not even be squadded up), it's much harder to type in some long thing about how about you fly and I gun and we'll go park over there and switch, etc., etc. Any protocol on this situation?

If I see a member of my team kill another, I'll drop him with a bullet to the head. We've already got 32 people trying to kill us, we don't need 33. I mean honestly, there is no reason to TK... well unless that person deserves it, in which case, you might as well just *&#$ around because your team isn't going to win with whining n00bs.

with a chopper I just land it on the other end and switch. Bombers, just stay with it I guess. Unless you have the other guy on ts. With fighters it doesnt matter. And I dont HOPE to get it. I nearly ALWAYS get it. 97% of the time.

A few Tk's and revives as a medic resolves the tker rather quickly.

                          Tk Away!!!!!!!!!!!

i've gotten a few people in the server i was in that just came in to tk. i usually just stand there and let them. i could care less about my k/d ratio, or any stats for that matter. so tk away. they usually get bored of doing it anyway because they usually want a fight. i will also try and make them laugh, and in fact, a couple of times i've succeeded. it's like a mini-multiplayer game of wits then.

I remember one incident a few months back on Sharqi, a clanmate and myself were in the Havoc and this dumbass jumps in the server and decides it would be cool to start tking everyone. We turned the chopper around and headed back to our chopper spawnpoint, just hovering near the butthole tker. All he seen was explosive cannon rounds and rockets coming for him. Once he respawned, we proceded to do it all over again and again and again.

I don't tk often, but you can bet if you run me over, blow me up, steal my tank, or c4 my plane, better have fun dieing.

I find FF off servers more fruitless though. On wake island one guy who wanted the j10 or helo or tank put c4 around it and simply blew everyone in the when it spawned and took the vehicle. Couln't stop him by killing him, couldn't punish him for tks.

If you flw high enough to die it was just like falling off a bridge.

There are so many ways they could fix waiting for vehicles and make tking moot.
