when i play sf

Before i start it up it says
mods/bf2/lightning.fxnot found!!! _Do_check your working directory,_AND_sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP (really!)

What does this mean, i dunt get it what do i do?

Re-download the FULL 1.3 patch and reapply.

It's the official response from EA and has worked for most people with this error.

it doesnt work, i download the full patch1.3, now this time it says staticmesh fx not found

reinstall BF + Sf + 1.3full ( in that Order)

The TBF2 forums have a nice feature called search.

It won't delete your stats if that's what your worried about, those are stored on the EA servers.

also, i dont have SF. just plain old BF2 and i still cant get it to work. i get the mesh error, and the lightning error (yes with lightNING) i cant even play regular bf2 and ive bought it over a month ago i have about 3 servers to play on with the no updates
