So I did the good summaritan thing and reported a wall glitcher, got some good screenies to of him, excellent lighting, great posing etc.. all in all pretty damn good.

So I set up this test, lets see if $hit happens..
So after 5-6 days I check his stats...nope...
2 weeks...nothing..
coming up on 3 weeks and Im abandoning my experiment into if reporting does jack..

Ill check back periodicaly for a chuckle, but in having any hope or faith in the system..well thats slipping rather fast.

edit: bah! title should say "reporting" but Im an idiot and wrote reprting...I suck...and I cant change it.

nope doesnt work , i reported this guy named jonnutter05 (he has annoyed more people , there even is an account with the name jonnutter05isafag) he is a stat padder (favourite victim killed 82 times ) and a tk'er .





basically what he does is damage the jeep a bit , than ram my tank causing me to TK him . It was real annoying , been about 3 weeks since i reported him and i still can see his stats.

I know it does not work..I reported with pics and scores...average score of like 60-80 and they have like 300-350..medic and supply good stuff...server is still up...I got kicked because I was bitching about it to them...

I just looked up his stats and he is in no immediate danger of becoming the number 1 player in the world. All I can tell about that player is that he enjoys team killing and raging people like you. So from your screen shots it looks like you were the one teabagging him.
I just think he p1ssed you off by team killing you and you returned the favor and you said "F*ck it Im reporting this guy." He is not wiped yet because the EA people probably realized the same thing. Not every jerk that is reported gets wiped because I would say 50% or more are pure bullsh1t in the firstplace. Little revenge reports because some people were either teamkilled or someone stole their tank or someone took off in their jet...

It does work, if you guys have any doubts why not ask IndianScout himself? I am sure he would not mind repeating what is already in all kinds of stickies all over these forums.

Just because the person does not get wiped immediately or within a couple weeks does not mean it wont happen. I know it happens, there was a forum member here that got wiped within a week or so of being caught.

Just reported someone today for the Karkand hotel glitch. Unfortunately, I cant upload video since Im getting footage for my next video but I did have a few screenshots proving my case otherwise. Maybe itll work out for me =)

Reporting doesn't work.

We had an ex-clan mate who was busted by someone else and reported on BF2RS playing on K&P servers some 5 months ago. He was the highest scoring player with an end of round score of 789. Numerous SS were posted, enough for us to instantly kick him out of the clan without talking to him.

We then followed him around later. He continued to play on P@K servers. He doubled his global score in less then 2 weeks from playing on these servers, some 10k+ of padding. He was then reported a further 2 times by us. With more SS, fraps footage each time. Guess what he still has is stats. So that's 0 and 1 for me.

Next person falsely reported our server on BF2RS. He was disproved by evidence from us which clearly showed he was lying. Case thrown out. What happened to him as a result of lying, nothing. Then out of interest I checked his stats. Low and behold clear evidence of a padder. His fav victim and worst enemy just happened to be his bud we also kicked for the same offence who also made a bogus report. They both magically got veteran and expert knife on the same day. Again clear evidence of a padder, again it was 5 months ago again no reset. That's 0 and 2.

Third person in 1 year of BF2 made a report against us on BF2RS. Again with our evidence we proved he was lying and not only that posing as a BF2RS admin. What happened to him, nothing. He still has his stats. No repercussions what so ever for making bogus claims and also posing as a BF2RS admin and also being part of the BF2Combat network. I guess they look after their own. So that's 0 and 3

Why should I bother reporting anyone else its just a waste of my time. The reporting process doesn't work, the ROE is full of flaws, servers don't get shut down by EA unless they display porn pics in the server graphic or an upstanding GSP pulls the plug themselves. Genuine padders don't get reset. If your no1 in the world (not saying {TA}Firestorm was a padder by any means) and you get reset you can get your stats back. How many have been falsely acussed only to be brushed off by EA who won't even show the evidence "they claim" they have against them.

Both reporting processes are now using a ticket system. With the competition between both groups to see who could be the 1st out I believe is all they concetrated on. Who could one up the other. To this date both systems are not transparent. Nowhere can a server owner or player see they have been reported. Nowhere can a player or server have a right of reply. Nowhere can a server or player see the evidence against them. We are supposed to have 100% faith in these systems with them not being transparent.

Now why would we want to go through all of this again with 2142 when Quake Wars has none of this crap and its also a lot cheaper for ranked servers. No ROE, no BS, no high priced servers, no crap patches. Why the hell should we support the Battlefield series any longer?

No they don't care do you E&A. I reported this lad for continuous team killing, name calling, swearing down the microphone, with -300 tk dropping artillery on his own men all the time and just been a pain up the a%&&. Took screen shots and wrote to everyone who was online at the time to take screen shots and report him to E&A. Looking at his stats nothing has been done even so two of us complain about this.

E&A are talking rubbish when they say stats will be wipe out or lowered what a joke E&A is. Much like the 1.3 patch that is a joke as well can't see this comming out very soon. It sinks after all the money I have piad out!!!

Sad but true unfortunately. Some people will know we have run a ranked server from day 1, abided by the ROE to the letter, had our rules personally checked by admins of both BF2RS and BFROE. Made every attempt to comply with the ROE system. For what? All for nill so far based on our experience.

Some people may also know I and others of our clan have particpated in the ROE discussions. Some good has come from that in that we successfully changed the ROE so that we could kick commanders who didn't do their job properly. We had a rule which said commanders don't fly, resign and fly or command properly. We were told that was against the ROE. We and other other admins protested this stance and did get the ROE changed so we could kick players who did this. Our only ray of sunshine so far in 1yr of BF2.

However take another example, the tkpunish system. Some may not know but over 90% or more of the admins out there don't want to run the flawed tkpunish system that responded to the ROE debate. After commanders flying and not doing their job the next hot topic was the flawed tkpunish system and admins having the right to choose whether or not they enabled this flawed system. EA came out and changed the ROE to mean that all ranked servers must run this flawed system. After a lot of protesting much debating, it has all fallen on deaf ears. I have even pm'ed Cloin Clarke twice about this subject, with a valid argument as to why the system doesn't work and admins should have the right to choose on private ranked servers whether to enable it or not. With the new BF2CC we can kick a player once they reach a negative score of our chosing, therefore there is no need for tkpunish, it only causes aggravation and the people who its was designed to kick, serial tk'ers get punished by being kicked once they reach a negative score, negating the need for the tkpunish system and all the "WTF did you punish me for noob" statements and hostility that goes along with it.

Again I say why after a year of these types of experiences with BF2 which never existed in 1942/DC,BFV should we continue to support the Battlefield series and move onto 2142? Bueller, Bueller, anyone?

What the hell? There is a distinct difference between a complete asshat (which is what the guy you describe is) and a cheater. You get morons like that everywhere, go find a server thats actually admin'ed if you dont like that sort of thing instead of going on ****ty EA servers.

You cant expect BF2RS of bfroe to wipe the stats of some guy who called you names and teamkilled alot, thats not what theyre for, christ youd have to wipe the stats of half the people playing battlefield on that basis.

These sites are for reporting CHEATS, not general everyday asshats.

And no, they dont work. I reported 2 padders doing the classic Go out of bounds/Freind Heals you gets the medic points trick with 5/6 conclusive screenshots. I am an admin for the server and caught these myself. Everything was done by the book and it was essentially handed to them on a plate with conclusive proof and a full description as well as details of two other people who could confirm what we saw. What happened? Absolutely nothing, nadda, ding, diddly squat.
