dumbs**t [Parachute] question

I know this seems kinda noobish, but I cant figure out how to "dive" while falling through the sky or in the parachute. I mean the thing where you lean forward and go faster. I hit all the buttons and it doesnt work. Hows it done? :p

do not deploy your chute...trust me you will go fast!!!!

actually you can get away with a low open in the parachutes, you have to be careful though because the parachute (realistically) doesn't automatically reduce you to chute speed, you slow down gradually. If you open too low you'll still take some damage from the landing.

I've done 5 foot openings that opened hard enough that would have realisticly removed my arms from my body.

I know how to low-open, but I've seen guys who can deploy the parachute, and have their soldier lean forward in a dive while in the parachute. Thats what I'm talkin about.

Notice how just adding one word suddenly makes it clear as to what the thread is about? Make a note o that.

As for your question; It's just your directional keys. If you've been pushing them, you have been doing it. You just don't get any particular animation for it (same deal as with "diverolls").

The best, and quickest way.. is to look straight up while you are diving, and hold W. You will fly so fast across the map. Takes a second to start moving, but once you do..

and as far as the parachute, W leans forwards, and to turn, A/D. If you hold S (not go forward AS much), your turning is inverted. Like, D would turn you left and A would turn you right.

Just wait until your closer to death (ground) then let her rip...Its not like real life when your shoot opens that close to the ground your legs will most likely break...

you can hit F9-F12 (camera keys?) and watch your self chute in different camera modes..not while your falling but once the chute is deployed..not really an answer but damn cool to watch.

It's an animation in the 3rd person that you are seeing. Kind of like the prone-side roll. You really dont do that at all that. But the animation merely depicts the model doing that. It's not a glitch or a cheat, before anyone jumps on that boat.
