Started Dif Account..Unlocks only 1 per promotion?

I've wanted the L96A1 since they introduced it. Unforunately I had just got passed 10,000 points when they did so my next promotion is at 20,000 or something like that. So I figured I should start another account. I got to 5,000 and it is only giving me 1 unlock per promotion and I've played SF on this computer under the other account since I started the other account. Are they expecting me to purchase it again since I'm playing a different account?

I don't have SF under the new account. How do I switch it over? I would just erase the other account if I could switch SF to newer account.

Just play a round of sf in the new account, you don't have to erase anything.

Thanks for the replies. Before it wouldn't let me go in with the other account. But I haven't tried since last two patches. Today it let me log into SF with the new account and I played 1/3 of a round. Then disconnected and it gave me 4 unlocks:) Yes, I am noob to forums, but don't feel new at all to BF2. Thanks again to those that humored me and responded. Saved me a lot of stress.

I have no problem with people who are new to the game; it's people who don't know how forums work that are the problem. If you know how to use a forum you can easily get at least 90% of the info you need without ever posting. Read sticky threads, browse a few pages to pick up the terminology used, then use the search function for any remaining questions. Only then should you actually post.

Hey I don't mind if people are going to be rude. A lot of people are just that way. Thanks to those who responded. BTW I am new to using forums but you have to start sometime to answer questions. I did, however, read for about an hour before I decided to start a new thread. No I am not new to the game though and I usually figure out problems without forum help. Sorry I couldn't do it this time. My only question is why did you bother responding or even reading? Title is pretty clear on what info I am seeking.

Might be an idea to have a section for noobs or infrequent users that other users can go in if they want to help and if not then don't?? just an idea. Personally i think knowledge is power and i've picked up a lot of tips from here that i wasn't aware of from noobs asking daft questions that have resulted in some good comments.
