Re: ranks/stats
I like playing infantry... as infantry I avoid tanks and apc's like a mouse avoids cats. I hide from jets and choppers (unless the chopper is laying still enough that I can get him through the glass).
So I like looking at the accuracy of other players, and the kill/death ratio. It gives me something to strive towards. The other stats don't indicate skill but instead indicate style, they tell you what the other player likes to do. For example, Eddy above me has more kills than deaths and so compared to me he's doing pretty damn good. He's also got about twice the play time I have so that means I shouldn't feel bad and that I can forgive myself cuz I'm still a new player.
It's good to look at stats, you just have to know how to read them. It's silly to think that someone's not a good player when their kills are ridiculously low but their support points and flag cap assists are through the roof.
