Installation Crash
Well, its been about 3 months since I played BF2 and I had lost the old DVD installer disk, so I went out and bought the BF2: Deluxe Edition, however when I insert the disk, auto run comes up, I click install then BF2 says its loading the install shield, and when it is finished loading it just crashes to Desktop. I have tried re-installing Install Shield but that doesnt solve the problem. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do?

A friend of mine have this problem too if he figures out how to fix it I´ll post here. -

You may have to fully uninstall the old version of BF2 first? Details in a sticky at the top of this forum (involves deleting registry keys).Comment
