M95 is better.. almost no bullet drop, and 95 damage to all infantry, plus anti-vehicle capabilities.

Unlike in the long forgotten past, the M95 is now pin-point accurate.

No, it doesn't, the L96 does 95 damage to unarmored infantary (medic, spec ops, sniper, engy), but does 33%less damage to armored guys, while M95 ignores armor, also, the damage of the M95 doubles on vehicles to 180. Anyways, M95 has bullet drop, so does every other gun, and the L96 and M24 are still more accurate.

i like the L96A1 better, but i can never use it cause for no reason at all i get TONS of lag whenever i look throught the scope. it just starteda bout 2 weeks ago, and when i zoom out, lag stops. any there sniper rifle has no lag, only that one. but it is better, and the m95 has crosshairs that r like and inch think, making it really hard to hit distant targets

1. You need Battlefield 2 Special Forces
2. You must at least have played one round on BF2SF.
3. You must first unlock the M95 sniper rifle.
4. Now you can unlock the L96.

I think the M95 cross hairs are fine.. what are you whinging about?

And, m95 bullet drop is significantly less than the l96a1 or m24. Prove me wrong. As for accuracy, I can headshot across wake with it, so thats pretty damn accurate if you ask me.

If you haven't already decided, my suggestion hold off on the unlocks, and then buy BF2-SF, then play a round in a SF server. When you come to the unlocks screen you should have two unlocks instead of one. Get the G3 and the F2000 (both assault unlocks). The F2000 is just ownage. In scoped mode you can out-snipe snipers, and in close range I don't envy the guy it is pointed at.

I find the L96 to be far better then the M95. The thick crosshairs of the M95 sometimes conceal an entire target, and that's just not good for me. When scoped I like to see as much as I can.

Maybe I need to screenshot how big those crosshairs are.. the way you guys talk, they're HUGE.

For me they're like || that thick, less than that actually.

the L96A1 is the best sniper rifle out there period,sure the m95 does a lot of damage but those croshairs are big as a barn and snipers are meant to take out targets from a distance which is no good with m95 cause cant see the target with that scope.the m24 is also very good to as it has a decnt scopeand slightly less accurate than the L96A1,aloso it has a second less reload time which is all the difference in a sniper duel.

There may be 'less' bullet drop, but not none like you said before, i myself do not know as i rarely use sniper rifles. Anyways, the M95 crosshairs are thinner than pre 1.2, and they are about as thin as the m24 ones, which is fine with me, the L96 still has thinner though.
