    Lag/studder issues

Sometimes I have experienced lag or studder (is this the correct word?) after joining a SF-game. What I do then is press the escape-key so I'm back in the main BF2-screen. I then wait a few seconds, and then press the escape-key one more time. I am back in-game, and the lag/studder is gone.
Anyone else experienced this? Anyway, I thought I share the info.

(Dunno if the same happens in vanilla BF2, havent played that for a while)

Havn't tried using the ESC key for this. Just followed Dirk001 suggestion. Works for me. Too many on a server and high ping players cause me grief

Not that you asked for a hardware suggestion, but I would guess that more RAM would help the situation.

I got the same thing, upgraded to 2 gigs, it went away.

Stutter and lag is the result of many things. You could be on a crappy server, or maybe your settings are too high. Update videocard drivers and try running defrag once in a while.

The problem was the studdering didnt disappear after 5-6 seconds. As I said it doesn't happen all the time. I wasn't looking for a solution, just sharing...but thanks for the input
(I got 2GB RAM, I'm always got the latest gfx-drivers, and defrag is run once a week)

believe it or not actually updating punkbuster sorts this problem out for some people.
i had 3 clan members have the same problem.
after the update it worked fine for them.
