Teamkilling and getting positive points is it possible

i could have swore a guy kept teamkilling people in a server tonight that was on my team and getting points for it and i know he teamkilled me a couple of times and he didnt drop any points. when i asked him on it he said must be a bug. but if my memory serves me correctly wasnt this a hack when the game first came out. he finally got kicked

the only thing i can think of is that he had the red name bug, but then again if he said it was a bug rather than saying he was on the other team thats fairly suss, very unusual indeed.

I do remember vaguely something about that, though i thought it was a glitch rather than a hack of sorts

he was on our side and he was showing up blue like normal and he would either spawn at the enemy flag or go there and steal there tank and come over to our flag and teamkill people

It's red bug's evil cousin, Blue Bug.

He was on the enemy team... this has happened to me. it's really cool, because you know exactly where they are, and can see their tag because it is blue, and kill them with ease /:j

but the thing is when i hit tab it showed him on my side not the enemy.

I believe it's still a variation on the same bug.

Hmmm never seen that before. Kinda off topic, but does the red name bug show the ally you've just killed on the enemy side of the scoreboard?

look at the scoreboard. it the only indicator if he was on your side or not. beocs this red blue tag bug will not show the enemy correctly. press tab to confirm.

Right. One time, I was on a server with a couple of my buddies, and I joined their squad...

The squad leader turns around and shoots me, because I had a red tag! I was even in his squad! HE then says, "But you're on the other side's score listings!".. Then the other guy in my squad says, "But he's in YOUR squad!".

Funny stuff. EA still needs to fix this ****.

the red tag bug alos happens in squads too. u can even spawn on an enemy squad leader or even enemy chopper or tank.

It happened to me it was funny as hell. I was china on Wake and I guess I showed blue to this one USMC guy. It was hilarious. I would walk up him and blast him with my DAO and he'd say over global "Hoody what the hell was that stop tking me". My score was going up, then his teammate called him a moron. It was hilarious. I actually saw him running to north base from airfield he looked at me for a sec and kept walking, then I blasted him. Tis was great.

The uniforms stay correct... for example...

Let's say you are playing on Wake as China. there's a guy on your team with the red bug, and he's spec ops. You hover your M95 over him, and he comes up red, but he has the distinctive red beret and chinese model. You shoot him. he dies. The kill indicator says 'You killed Nubcake.' Up the top right, it says 'You [M95] Nubcake.'

and now the sweet bit. 2 seconds later... 'You have been punished for a team kill!'

Watch the uniforms. Bit hard with vehicles, I know, but it's better than nothing.

Funny thing is one time I had the enemy commander exhibit the "Blue Bug" for me. I could see where he was throughout the entire game, but problem is, I didn't realize he was an enemy because he was always backed up into a far corner in the buildings on MashedTater City. Near the end of the round with them having about 50 tickets left I finally figured it out and went a-hunting. Good times.

That happened to me and Chodda. I was piloting the Z-10 and I saw this guy keep popping up on my map. lol.. so he's probably one of his new victims.
