BF2 Deluxe to Update

I just bought BF2 Deluxe version which was BF2 orignal and the Special Forces expansion pack, how do I set the patches? Or what patches should I download? It's at the version of 1.128 something something... I just read the little number on the side during the main menu. Could anyone help me?

i got the same one as u and i just downloaded the full 1.3 patch from fileshack

version 1.128xxxx should be the latest 1.3 patch.
patch numbers are not the same as the version numbers in bf2.

try playing online, and then if you cant connect, download and install the FULL 1.3 patch from EA.

Ok, I just had that experience of what was going on with the patch numbers. But how will I know if it's updated regardless?

the only way to know is to run bf2 and look for the version number on the menu screen. if you see 1.1.2878-710.0 you have the latest version.
