EA's beta testing for the 1.4 patch...

The following is from Gamedrome.com:

In the next patch some of the issues resulting from the 1.3 Patch are to be resolved, and a new map called 'Road to Jalalabad' will also be included.

EA will release the patch up to public beta testing in July.

My question to you is, how long does the beta testing take before the actual 1.4 patch is released to the public?

Does this mean that we can still expect a 1.3 hotfix (1.31) or will we have to wait for the 1.4 patch to resolve the current problems?

Has anything be mentioned about a 1.31 hotfix? Given current form id say we were stuck till 1.4

I agree...if there was any plans for a hotfix to fix all the server crashes then they would had done it weeks ago (or at least a week or two after the initial release of 1.30).

they are "giving" us a new map.

Oh, and they may look into a few minor problems, but they won't worry too much about the crashes and such.

Please No more patches! EA has screwed up BF2 enough. I have basically quit BF2 because of all the endless crap patches. Lets just go back to 1.1 and have fun.

They fixed 1 problem that caused CTD.
