I got this message AFTER I heard the sound "New Commander on Duty":

Wierd stuff like this happens all the time, I see "You were killed by blahblah" and it even says I was killed in the top right, but I wasn't. I've seen successful kick votes that weren't successful. Actually recently the same thing happened to me that happened to you. I applied to be commander on PLA then I was switched and it gave me the accept message. They need to start fixing important stuff rather than this little stuff.

Look at the yellow/orange text at the bottom of the screen. Its the 'commander message'. Then notice that there is already a commander.

U should have taken an image of u getting the message, and the green text at the top left saying "New Commander is on Duty".

Anyway, yes wierd. Looks like something that may be a one time thing.

You would think, but this message occured a few seconds after "New Commander on Duty," message came up, which by that time the message you wanted had scrolled by.

I guess...I think others have experienced these bugs but either don't notice them or don't care.

I'm a programmer so I'm very exacting and used to catching things like this. I don't think I'm anything special though.

What are you talking about? I've had this sig for more than 15 years. I find nothing wrong with it.
