Xfire issues!

Hi

I dont know if this will help anyone.

If you game constantly freezes ,CTD or Use the HD more that usual i may have a possible fix that sorted that for me.

OK i play in 21cw and was constantly getting the above problems in practice. So i turned fraps off thinking its that. NOPE still did it. So i closed all he crap off i didnt need like Antivirus and Xfire strangly thats when it all of a sudden fixed its self.

SO having a hunch it was xfire (had problems with it and other programs before) I decided to close it for battle day. And i played 7 hours non stop with out any problems. I also played tonight with it on and it CTD, then i didnt play with it on and played for 2 hours without any issues.

I hope this has been helpful to some people.

I run xfire all the time...no problems here. Just make sure you go to "Tools", "Options", "Files" and disable download rate while playing.

too bad my 21CW isnt working:cry: havent played in about 1 month now and i dont play with much on just like anti virus but it used to work with it on, Mine doesnt even crash in game it gets to about 35% loading and just quits

21CW its a MyIS tournament, there is 4 different divisions(2 Coalition,2 Opposition)with weekely 12 Hour matches. Intrested check out the site and register for free or pay 5 bucks for a certain division

and, do you win stuff or what? or is it just a massive tourny every week? and, how does that work, there are SO many people on the roster, does the mod allow that many people at once? and 12 HOURS!?!?

u win battles,pretty much a massive tourney every week,lots of peopl on the roster arent even there a lot of the time,yes battles are 12 hours but thats so every1 can get a chance to play.verry friday or saturday a coal division and a opp didvision play.there are 4 divisions

coalition-4th battalion highlanders,2nd infantry division

opp-55th airborne,
9th mechanized division.

Im not sure about battlefield, but in games such as FEAR and GTA San Andreas, xfire capped the fps of those games at 25. So i went to tools>options>games>, then i didabled xfire in game chat, and my fps jumped up and now fear and gta run at fps never lower than 50. If any of you have fear or gta or any other game that seems to not run well, try doing this little trick and see if aything changes:)

well there campaigns(SP?) and you get a record and there is companies (squads) in the division and you just switch out when you get tired the battles are friday or saturday 12PM-12AM eastern time
