freezing help

For the past few weeks ive been playing bf2 and for some reason the game freezes for 2 seconds andmy crossair goes flying in a whole new direction and it is driving me crazy!!! Is it my hard drive or something? i nstalled the latest drivers for my video card

amd athlon 64 3400 2.2 ghz
1.5 gig ram
200 gig 7200 rpm hard drive +intergrated nvidia geforce 6100
