Umm... it's not your money anymore. You GAVE it to them in exchange for a great game. It's not like giving taxes to the government (where it's still your money) and they spend it on themselves instead of on public programs.

They can do whatever they want with the money they earned by working, and personally I think they deserve a vacation.

Why don't people here understand that BF2 isn't a subscription-based game? Paying for it doesn't guarantee that you'll get support.

Thats how they do things over there for the summer holiday break.

While I was in the UK, we ordered some new furniture from a Belgium company and had to wait until the holiday break was over for the furniture to be completed. They had closed the whole plant for the holiday period. This is done in several areas in Europe.

I don't understand why everyone is always so ****d off with DICE. Granted the game has issues but we've all paid between $50 and $100 (depending on which packs you have bought). In exchange for that most of us have had hundreds of hours of fun with the game. It works out to a tiny fraction of a dollar for each hour of fun. Where else can you get that?
People are so offended that the people who work at Dice might not devote every thought, action, and last drop of energy to a video game. Come on people it's not like cardiac surgery where the surgeon got bored and wandered out of the room. It's a video game. Get over yourself. The world does not revolve around you or any video game. Don't forget about the things in life that are really important ---- try to look out the window everyonce in a while, the resolution is better.

LaugZilla, when I bought this game from EBGames I never expected the developers to **** it up with patch 1.2 - 1.3.. They are using the public as beta testers but how does it matter? With the release of 1.2 DICE & EA didn't do crap about the bugs the beta testers reported.

How many hours have you played the game? Have you enjoyed it at all? If you have played for more than 10 hours I would guess you have enjoyed it. How much are you willing to pay per hour to be entertained. If you are unhappy figure you had a good time and move on....don't expect to have a hoard of people woking slave hours so you can slight improve your KDR. It's a video game not life and death. The next patch will come out when it's done, stop your incessant whining and go try to talk a girl (without having to give your credit card number).

A little rough but definitely true. People who have played for hundreds of hours and racked up huge scores still bitch and moan about DICE not fixing the game fast enough. Obviously the game is good enough for you to play for hours and hours, so please don't complain that DICE doesn't work year-round.
