Cheating does occur in Battlefield 2, whether you guys want to believe it or not. It's actually becoming more of a common occurance, why? Punkbuster has not updated for Battlefield 2 in forever, and what updates that have come by have not effected any of the big cheats out there. There are at least ten major hacks available that work and that punkbuster has failed to even stop. Some major cheats are being made and sold to people. These cheats are made from Ex-punkbuster employees from what I have heard, they know how to work around punkbuster and offer a weekly update to keep you safe from punkbuster. Yes. Some people are willing to pay for cheats (such as clans in ladders.) It's a very sad thing, and it's sad to look at the ladders and remember when it used to be skill that determined who was good...not who's cheats were better.

That's wrong this can be achieved client side along with many other things very easy.

This was a big problem in BF1942. In many inf clan battles I met opponents with this cheat. I'm really dissapointed if it can be done in BF2. No spread gives a great advantage over other players..

I have never in my life come across another player who I couldnt kill. I have never played against a player that never missed. For the lesser skilled players, they will run across good players and get owned and think they cheat. But if you are a good player yourself you will realize that they rnt THAT good. No one is REALLY good in this game. Are there cheaters out there? Of course there are. Are there many? No. If there were, they would be able to own me. Ive never come across a player able to dominate me on the ground (never played against an aimbot). Ive played against the best teams in the country and in the world and I am certain none of them cheat. Just because a player is good is NO REASON to call them a cheater. The guy who started this thread got owned so he came up with an excuse. Dont make excuses for yourself.

heheh, stop being so naive. You've almost certainly been killed by a cheater at some point. Good cheaters know how to make "adjustments" so it doesn't look like they cheat. Good cheaters make "good players".

I know, cause I used to be in a Mechwarrior clan years back, and most of us cheated like crazy, but we would only cheat a little, LOL. Everyone thought we were good players, and we were, but a little cheating made us great.

I just come from the new sir modded server and some guy from the zoo clan said he was hacking.

well its an unraked server running a mod theres nothing any one can do apart from keep an eye on that player.
what was the players name if you dont mind asking.
if you dont like to post it could you please send it me in a pm so i can make sure he never comes to my server.

No need to make this personal buddy. I never said they werent wide spread or anything of the sort. And as far as searching google goes, it seems more than half the people in this forum dont even know how to use the search feature here so i'd be amazed if they could even find google.

no that list is a list of one hack an all its options.
plus by putting this in (the post) it helps other admins to keep an eye open for hackers.
also my post dosnt say any where were they can get the hack.
i havent an i wouldnt give that information any way.
an if you knew any thing about the hacks you would also relise that all you have to do is google search.

that one hack that i wrote about has already been posted to PB an will be closed very very soon.
every hack i have manged to get my hands on ive sent off to pb to get closed.
i even send the web sites that i get the hacks from to them so they can join them selfs an get a list of them members in there,
the idiots that join these web sites use the same email to register there game.
you will be very surprised how many peoples emails ive seen(i click on some members user cp in the forums to send email or private message) that also have the same name as a couple of people in here!

I dont think its wise to put a list of available hacks here. It might be too much temptation for the people who are contemplating using such cheats.

just look for players constantly staring at walls(this will the chamz hack so they see the players through the walls).
the easyest way to spot it is if there running along a fence looking at it the shoot straight away an kill there target with no UAV no body has got lightening reflex's.
look for players that spin around an kill others in one shot(spinning round fast an having no chance of knowing that the enemy was behind them)this is the aimbot as it auto locks on to the closet enemy to them.
claymore,land mines hide em in the grass an watch from a distance an see how many people avoid them even thou you cant see them your self,but you know there as youve put them there.
no fog kills(have a clan member go on the opposite side an follow an player you suspect an watch how he gets his kills,because if your clan member cant see the enemy then theres no way the hacker should be able to see them either)

ROFL, that's funny man. Too bad there's no way we'll ever know for sure how many of the good cheaters (err, players) are at the top of the scoring stats.


But here's a similar situation. If an IRS agent goes out and ask waiters and waitresses if they're reporting all their tips and paying taxes on those tips, well, the waitstaff are all gonna say, "Yes, sir, we play by the rules, and report all income". And we ALL know that waiters under-report income as much as they possibly can.

BF2 is no different. Nobody's gonna admit cheating, but a lot are.

yes but windscreen aint, on the old patch i shot the hell outta a front windscreen and it did'nt kill the guy only thing i can think for that is bulletproof, 1.3 hits the sniper rifle is the only thing i know that can kill a guy from the front on not a PKM.
