okay, this is where i have a major problem.

you know those great starting bases where on the map they have the red circle over there them. well if you are the oposing team you can not take the base over, so there is no need to camp out there and just rape everyone that respawns. I think others call this stat padding.

i dont mind a good game between teams, but when you do this, you turn a lot of the newer players and even some of the older players off form wanting to play.

Lets try to keep the play fair.

when the flags are capped and theres nothing to do but defend....i usually sneak (note, SNEAK) in the enemy uncappable base and try to steal their helos/airplane just for teh hell of it =).

Spawn at another base. If it's your last base, then that is the only base left to attack.

Lets try to keep the play fair.

They are playing fair.

By the way, I don't go into uncap, but I understand the type of game it is.

lol dont try that on the Dog pound puppys server =DPG. they will ban you for even owning them. happen to us tonight. raped that server silly with 100 points and over 50 kills and next thing ya know POP i got banned with my teammates.

If your team is doing any good, you have other flags to spawn at. If your team is doing bad, that's what happens when they aren't controlling the map.

If you're getting base raped then its just part of the game. Deal with it by spawning with a kit to counteract it, so what u may get killed a few extra times, eventually they will be killed. IMO when they released DC final and made it so u couldnt even go into uncaps (there was an invisible exclusion zone) it spoilt the game a little and ruined the sense of immersion. Who remebers the burnt out planes frozen in the air by pilots inadvertently fying into the zone...ridiculous

And God forbid the Spec Ops guys who just blew up a few goodies who are now smart enough to jump in a hijacked tank to make their escape. The kiddeis rush in, get killed upon my exit, and yell "Base Raping!!!"

Ugh. What am I supposed to do? Give you a tank and surrender?

this is a big problem in every game I've ever played. I admit I've done it but it's really hard to just sit out there and wait for the bad guys to come running out.

sure there is a need for it, its a form of combat support, basically if am camping an enemy base, my team will have that much less to worry about. by the argument that you make, we should only have assault weapons (no snipers/tanks), and should only be worried about capturing bases, this is not the case, the game is about killing the enemy first and for-most.

ya, well people that call camping stat padding are stupid as hell. stat padding refers to getting points through means other than normal play, camping IS normal play!

good, noobs new and old shouldnt be playing a game that takes this amount of teamwork and patience

camping is perfectly fair, both sides have main bases wheater uncapturable or not. theres no safe haven, everywhere is the battlefield

i have posted a topic on the bf2roe forms restricting rules against uncapturable base rape. limiting where the player can fight is not fair play and is killing this game.

If you can`t push your way out of your base from the start and allow the enemy to push you back........then you deserve to get raped
