This thread isn't as popular or as discussed as it should be it may be because a direct link wasn't posted by the original poster so here is the direct link.
Re: New video with Colin Clarke the global community manager of DICE
Most of the information in the video pertains to BF2142, I didn’t even bother summarizing that info because I didn’t think there was the interest here.
My reaction to watching it is pretty much in line with what others have already posted, wonderment and disbelief when he asked for questions and they just looked at him stone faced with blank expressions, maybe they already had a "chew the DICE guy out session" before he went into his BF2142 pitch, or maybe as someone else pointed out they were just shy.
Re: New video with Colin Clarke the global community manager of DICE
when I try and play it I gen an error saying- "The file you are trying to play has an extension that does not match the file format. Playing the file may result in unexpected behavior."
Than nothing happens, the video doesnt play, has anyone experienced this before.

Try saving the link to your hard drive and using VLC player, you can get it here http://www.videolan.org/ It's a free player that works great on .mp4 files too, anyway... to play it, open the Bootcamp_FPS_DICE.wvx file with the player, you might want to try this procedure with Media player first, I'm just using MP 9 on XP.
Re: New video with Colin Clarke the global community manager of DICE
He said he got a lot of grilling backstage, im guessing they were told not to flame him about 1.3, i cant believe they never asked the important questions, and did you see how old some of those guys were, damn, i wonder will i playing when im that old, hmmmm.
Anyway, he misheard bftv as where bf2 is going regarding its future and THEY corrected him and left that topic, grrrrrrrrrr, FFS!!!

I could hardly understand half of them (although I did hear BFTV), looked like the only people with any questions were Europeans you Americans shouldn't let up the opertunity to ask questions pass so easily. :)
Anyway I hope they go in the right direction this time, open betas is defenetly something they should have done earlyer.
Re: New video with Colin Clarke the global community manager of DICE
That is pretty interesting. I wish that they would try and understand the difference between actual game play bugs and cosmetic changes. They say they have isolated the possible cause to the random CTD problem, I guess we will see on that one.
One thing I really dont get is why are they still wasting time and energy adjusting weapons after a year?
LEAVE THE F**KING WEAPONS ALONE THERE ARE OTHER THINGS THAT NEED FIXING!!!!
Re: New video with Colin Clarke the global community manager of DICE
DICE has the worse fixes for everything. To fix C4 just make it to where you can only throw it as far as you can when standing, but let us be able to jump and toss it over a wall. Get rid of random deviation, and actually reward people that can aim. Fix the hitboxes on vehicles, and stop wasting time on crap like coop.
