Advise on new TFT

Im currently on an old 17" iiyama (1600x1200) which is currently 9 years old (lol) and running good, just wondering what TFT monitors have to offer.

Can any advise a good TFT monitor that has 1600x1200 or higher resolution and low response times at a good prices in £ please.

You won't find one with 1600x1200 for a good price. For that res you're looking at a 20.1in with will run you 450+ USD (whatever that converts to) for a decent one.

Can you be more specific to your budget, other than "a good price."

A word of advice, get one with a good response time, otherwise you may fall victim to "ghosting" seen with cheaper monitors. 12ms and below is usually good enough.

I'd advice you on getting one. A few months back I had a 15'' TFT but now I got a 19'' TFT with built in speakers, its alot bigger and I can run screen res on desktop at 1280x1024 and same with in BF2, and all other games. TFT monitors are much more clear.
